Photoshopping structures into a painting

I thought it would be useful to see how the sculpture will look in the painting, giving me an idea of how a drawing would look in real life.

The right hand angle looks way better, the angle on the right makes the shape look flat and not dimensional. I discovered this in my sketchbook and this is proved again here.
