As we went across the field

As we nimbled our way around the prim and proper hedges. As we dazed along the muddied ribboned tracksAs we side by side brushed the dead soil Object as prompt and worldI painted a little wood panel just now. It prompted me to write those words above. The painting is like a view finder into my interior…… Continue reading As we went across the field

Studio 19.1.24

Good morning. In the studio, I’ve just arrived. I’ve been making some interesting shapes on the paper paintings. Now the question is how to translate them into bigger paintings? Perhaps I could spend some time looking at the artists whom I have been recommended in mentor sessions. I could also ask what is wanted of…… Continue reading Studio 19.1.24

Island tide timelapse

It’s the new year and I have been itching to do this project for weeks. I wanted to use coloured paper to make a timelapse of the tide coming in and out of an island. Cold, steely undertones. Very intense. It…… Continue reading funny rock thoughts

wips

I’ve been making a lot very quickly and it’s all rough and quick and thoughtless which is good because I just want to get down and start making. I feel like I should do some reading, I haven’t done any reading for ages I think it would be good. I have Jung’s Modern Man In…… Continue reading wips
