I have been collecting photos of trees and woods in different light. I wanted to capture tall trees with sweeping branches. Capturing their scale will be interesting to experiment with.

Collecting Reference Photos #1

I have been collecting images of outdoor scenes that have atmospheric colour and light. I was drawn to scenes where the light created patterns on water and through trees. I am going to do some sketchbook experiments with this material and see where it takes me, using a variety of mediums.
